January 2025

DREV, in collaboration with Chalmers Industriteknik, Verkor, EcoReset, and RISE, is excited to announce the launch of the EIT Manufacturing project, CircLion. This initiative aims to prepare DREV’s Vault Stationary system and its patent-pending Micro-Particle Canister, co-developed with MANN+HUMMEL, for market introduction.

The Vault Stationary addresses critical challenges in Li-ion battery production by efficiently capturing reactive battery particles at the source and supporting material recovery. This innovative solution enhances safety, efficiency, and sustainability. It also ensures the secure handling, storage, and recovery of active raw materials by preventing reactions during transportation and storage.

The CircLion project is funded by EIT Manufacturing and represents a collaborative effort to revolutionize the industry’s approach to contamination control and resource efficiency.
